Drei Jahre nach der Wende, in einer Zeit, in der Nicht-Deutsche massiv verfolgt und ermordet wurden, der sogenannte Westen seine vermeintlichen Werte der DDR überstülpte, deutsche Panzer in der Türkei Kurd*innen ermordeten, gingen in Deutschland 100.000 Menschen für eine friedliche Lösung der „Kurdenfrage“ auf die Straße. In diesem Jahr, 1993, bestärkten die deutschen Behörden mit einer Entscheidung einmal wieder ihre rassistische Politik und ihren patriarchalen Bund mit dem türkischen Staat. Am 26. November 1993 erwirkte das Bundesinnenministerium das sogenannte PKK-Verbot, durch das von nun an auch kurdische Aktivist*innen in Deutschland verfolgt werden konnten.
Mit dem Verbot zahlreicher kurdischer Organisationen und Symbole wurde eine demokratische Organisierung für die Lösung der kurdischen Frage und die Vermittlung der Ziele des kurdischen Frauenbefreiungskampfes massiv erschwert. Jegliches Einstehen für das Selbstbestimmungsrecht der Kurd*innen kann seitdem kriminalisiert werden. Lange Zeit wurde die öffentliche Wahrnehmung der PKK von staatlich gelenkter Antipropaganda geprägt. Es wurde das Bild einer gewalttätigen, feudalen, terroristischen Organisation geschaffen – viele von uns sind mit diesem Bild aufgewachsen. Bis heute versperren diese Bilder den Blick auf eine Bewegung, die sich mit unerschütterlicher Hingabe, einer tiefgreifenden Philosophie und historischen Analyse, demokratischen Methoden und einem unbändigen Lebenswillen der Befreiung der Frauen verschrieben hat.
Die PKK-Bewegung hat kontinuierlich Frauen ausgebildet und ermutigt, Verantwortung in allen Bereichen der Gesellschaft zu übernehmen. Mit dem Prinzip des Ko-Vorsitzes verbunden mit einer autonomen Frauenorganisierung, mit Frauenräten, Frauenkooperativen und der Jineolojî (Wissenschaft der Frau und des freien Lebens) wurden grundlegende Elemente für die Entwicklung hin zu einer wirklich befreiten Gesellschaft aller geschaffen. Diese stellen durch ihre ökologische und basisdemokratische Ausrichtung eine reale Alternative zum kapitalistischen Patriarchat dar und sind nicht nur für ihre Ursprungsregion modellhaft.
Die PKK verkörpert für uns die Utopie von einer geschlechterbefreiten, demokratischen, ökologischen und vielfältigen Gesellschaft. Die PKK und die Idee des demokratischen Konföderalismus stehen für einen radikalen Frauenbefreiungskampf, der unzählige Heldinnen hervorgebracht hat.
Mit den Feststellungen „Kurdistan ist eine Kolonie!“ und „Die Frau war die erste Kolonie!“ stehen die PKK und ihr Begründer Abdullah Öcalan für die Verbindung des Kampfes gegen Kolonialismus und Patriarchat. Dass „eine Gesellschaft nur dann frei ist, wenn die Frauen darin frei sind“, ist bei der PKK fest verankerte Praxis. Und genau das ist auch der Grund, warum sie von den Nationalstaaten, die den Status quo erhalten wollen, bekämpft wird.
Zuletzt wurde mit der Frauenrevolution in Rojava ein blühendes Beispiel der gelebten Utopie der kurdischen Frauenbewegung geschaffen und diese in einem aufopferungsvollen Kampf gegen dschihadistische Terrorgruppen verteidigt. Rojava schafft die Gewissheit, dass eine andere Welt möglich ist, wenn wir dafür einstehen. Diese Hoffnung sät sich in alle freiheitsuchenden Herzen aus und ermutigt uns weiter zu kämpfen. Währenddessen versucht der deutsche Staat weiterhin erfolglos mit seiner stumpfen Repressionspolitik den Kampf für ein freies Kurdistan und ein ökologisches, demokratisches und geschlechterbefreites Leben dort und auch hier zu unterdrücken.
Gerade jetzt, in dieser krisenhaften Zeit mit ihren Möglichkeiten, aber auch Gefahren, sagen wir als Feminist*innen: PKK?! na klar!!!
Auf Grund der aktuellen Lage der Corona-Pandemie und der damit einhergehenden Absage der bundesweiten Demonstration, rufen wir am 21.11.2020 alle Feminist*innen zu kreativen dezentralen Aktionen in Solidarität mit dem kurdischen Befreiungskampf und den Freundinnen der PKK auf! Lasst uns alle mit unserer vielfältigen Schönheit kämpferisch und kreativ sein!
